This sentiment is well conveyed through this piece. I felt drawn into this story/interview. The vivid photo selections and sequence flow put me into a nostalgic frame of mind — evocative to say the least. This essay is a gripping tail of how we are bound to the land, and not the other way around. I also appreciate the Steinbeck allusion.
